Yep. But even if it wasn't, after a few minutes of inactivity, the IBS shuts power completely, so that socket would be useless for a charger anyway.

Same thing buddy. Am debating if I should hardwire a BT pigtail to this car. I'd have to add extra cable as it's a long stretch, and cable would be fugly coming from the terminals under the hood. I usually attach the pigtail with the cap's 'tail' around one of the hood grile slats, and it's nearly invisible. But all my other cars have the battery in front, and installation is practically invisible with the hood open. For now will keep opening the hood every time. Good thing is I don't use the car much. Take care.
