There was an article in Auto Bild Sportscars (or perhaps Sport Auto) that featured an article on Akrapovic. In the same Magazine/article it was also stated that the F8x exhaust system was codeveloped with Akrapovic.
I believe that Eisenmann has a closer connection with AMG. BMW M seems to prefer Akrapovic for their sports exhausts.
