I also Have the 25d and it's had 2 new eggs and software update
I mentioned to the dealer when it went in for the second egr that I

Dealer said there was no other issues other than egr

Tbh, I didn't notice anything untoward, it was picked up when in for new pads & discs. (Front Pads 17K, both 36K, told you roundabouts not good lol).
Was just a small split by all accounts so not failed.
