We get "LED headlights with extended features" in Australia. That includes LED cornering lights and high beam assist. So far, they seem pretty good to me. I've had adaptive bi-xenon lights in a previous car, non-adaptive bi-xenons in my M135i; the LEDs in the X1 compare pretty favorably thus far, but LEDs seem less "intense" than xenon beams.
