Where do you live in SoCal that you'd benefit from this setup? Or is it just a personal preference? I know you mentioned visiting construction sites occasionally and dirt roads daily and I'm struggling to think of an area in metropolitan SoCal where dirt roads are commonplace.

I live in Upland and visit various job sites from Hesperia (dirt road) to Hollywood Wood Hill (bad pavement). The decision was more of a personal preference and coping with something different. I took X2 to Mt Baldy a week prior with 20” run flat, and was not impressed with the grip. At that point, I figured it might as well become a fun daily car instead of a canyon carver.
