Sorry - misunderstanding here. Its nothing to do with warranty. I'm saying that if you have a pre-paid service or maintenance agreement with your car (which is different to warranty at least here downunder) they may refuse to carry out the work until it is due. But even if you do have a service agreement, they will do the work if requested, but if its outside the schedule of the service agreement you would have to pay.
