Do the Xi/xDrive E9x cars have a open diffs in the front and rear? Could someone explain the differential/transfer case situation to me for these cars in detail or point me to a really great source.
Also, what parts of the diffs are electronically controlled and do they act in real time (partly mechanical) or are they reactive (entirely electronic and controlled in stages)?
