I guess only you will know the answer to this as it'll very much depend on what winter looks like around where you drive. I live in Edinburgh and used to drive to Perth to work. Not had any winter tyres for the past 12 years and never been stuck. There's always a first time to get stuck
but I genuinely don't see a need given my driving circumstances.
