Just thinking this through, as I see it, the finish that is applied is a slow drying, very hard and very thin top coat. So once you cut through the top coat, you need to repair it by reapplying. That would require going through the original process of cleaning and perhaps additional prep for the areas that still have some of the cured top coat.

I suspect that it may not be very tolerant of normal wax either.

Anyone have experience in doing repairs? Also what happens when (hopefully never) a respray is required?
