On this subject again, if you want the car’s wheel tracking and alignment make sure the car is properly weighted first.
I used a different garage tyre supplier who found on changing from my winter wheels and tyres back to summer wheels and tyres, the alignment and toeing was significantly out. I had done about 3,000 miles mostly on French and Swiss motorways. Hardly roads with potholes. It appears that BMW require the alignment and tracking should be done with the equivalent of at least one passenger in the rear and the weight of a driver. It sounds logical.
