You're OK here as long as you dont mess around with tyre sizes as there is an option on some new X2s to have standard tyres as per brochure or opt for run flats as a £150 extra in the UK.

You should also be OK with winter or all weather tyres of the acceptable size without telling anyone.

What to avoid is to do something like having a staggered setup between front and back wheels which some 3 series fanatics do.
