for your Corona ring, if it is halogen, it's probably H8 ... like the last gen E60 5 series and 3 series as well.
There are LED conversion kit out there but they are spec. for the E90 3series and therefore, I cannot really give you any great upgrade suggestion.
When I had the E60, I had tried many different so-called xenon look H8 bulbs, let me tell you ... they all sucked big time. Brands like GP Thunder, PIAA, Mtec ....
