A scissors jack (such as #4), particularly ones with the rotating lug on top so you can position it optimally to the situation, offers more integrity. But the same warnings apply!

I share the same thoughts. My feelings are the #3 seems to be weak depending on the ground. I have a similiar one with my previous VW Rabbit.
I'll aim for the #4 as I still have to buy a jack.
