I figured it out. Not too happy though for LHD drivers.
The Wiper is in the way or it would of been perfect!
And I don't want to have a long ass cable going across the front of my windshield.
My routine weekly is to pop the hood, grab the cable from the tender on a shelf, plug it in, close the lid slightly and done.
If I were to use the area listed in green (see pic), I'd just have to pull the cable across the front of the car walking around it to plug it in.
Maybe it's good enough, and if I practiced routine it would be OK, but for me, kinda want to just get out of car, grab cable, plug in and be done with it - and that's not going to happen 'cleanly installed'.
