^^^ if true that would mean Toyota is finally waking up and realizing naturally aspirated V8s have not been competitive in super sedans and super coupes for years.
However it would be unfortunate if the power figure is correct because they'd be entering the game already outgunned, just as everyone else is graduating to 600hp+. Regardless of whether the GS stays or goes they still need a proper high performance engine for the LC. It would be nice to see one in the LS too. Maybe they could even put it in the RC - that would catch just about everybody off guard.
