I agree with you. I owned/own both -the older model got lousy gas mileage, had more road noise, took potholes like a Mini, had crummy electronics, less comfortable seats and didn't have much more pep than the F48. And the newer version is much better in the snow. I don't even need snow tires now up here in the mountains of PA.
