Had Pirelli PZero on my Jag F-Type and learned to hate them. Anything below 10C (50F) and they were hard as a rock with no grip at all. Rain performance was also terrible. Now part of all that was silly a$$ torque (500 ftlb) of the car but I'll never have them on another car again. I believe the M550i has Pirelli Pilot Super Sport (non RFT) and love them. Unfortunately no spare but there is a tire "repair" kit (the black goop).
