I will keep the hikvision and place it somewhere else though, and get the amcrest for the baby's room.

Looks pretty good to me! I actually just installed one at the apartment downtown, overlooking the river. I turned night vision off for obvious reasons, so anything in the dark is nothing to write home about, but the daytime quality is very impressive.
