The production date of your car (and the SELLER'S car) is VERY important in this situation.
The Sirius satellite module is available in two different part numbers. One is only good for cars built before a certain EARLY production date, the other is good for cars from then to present.
If you search for the thread from several months ago when I sold my Sirius, the specific dates are listed there.
If you car has Sat Prep (most do) then this box with the mounting plate is all you need, hardware wise. You will need to go to the dealer and have them retrofit Satellite Radio into you car. (programming)
