Bad luck, is there a way to add hardware Wi-Fi port to my head unit ? Or it will be easier to find second hand with wifi port ?
And last, is there any way to run CarPlay using 3rd party usb stick or a MMI Pro unit? A local guy here coded my bmw and I see apple car play on connection section, but after we couldn’t pair my iPhone, we looked behind the unit and he told me that I don’t have Wi-Fi port. So it seems that I have coded it on my car with software but I don’t have the hardware, so it’s pointless to have it.
