Tire Replacement
Struck out searching, so here it is:
On my subaru, because of the Viscous Coupling Differential, it was a no no to have tires with substantially different treadwear on different corners.
Last night I sliced one of my winter tires open on a raised manhole cover. The tires have about 3,000 on them.
Can I just toss a brand new one on, or do I need to do both fronts? I can't seem to find an authoritative source for this answer, and I honestly don't trust the hacks at my local service department.
