An X1 M (or X2 M for that matter) is not happening this generation, and possibly not next generation either.
An X1 M35i would make sense, and it was even rumored at one point to be coming along with the X2 M35i. However, the time on that seems to be just about up, since I don't see them introducing it past the LCI. If it doesn't happen this generation, next generation would be a good bet.
