I live in Perth... so can share my experience during the various 40degree (Celsius) days we have had this summer.

I find that the AC does just an ok job but it is very noisy. It is definitely not as good as the Lexus IS300 we had. On the really hot days, the fan speed stays very high for a long period of time. I also notice that the air flow from the front facing vents isnt huge. Ive temporarily blocked the middle upper dash vent to try to force more airflow from the front vents.... but it hasnt made a huge difference.
