Rattle in the back... solved.

This may seem simple, but I thought I'd share. I was getting this rattle in the back of my car. It was driving me CRAZY!!!

So before running to the dealer, my first step was to remove all the stuff out of the side pockets and rear lower compartment along with removing the rear trunk cover. Problem solved. So I thought.

After a bit, it came back.

I finally figured it out. It's the rear seatbelt clasp. If it's up too high, it will bang against the hard plastic side bolsters and vibrate like hell. You just have to make sure that the clasp is all the way at the bottom of the belt. It won't make a peep.

The first time around, I must have moved the belt clasp while shifting things around in the car. The only explanation.

Anyway, if you're hearing a similar rattle, check the rear seat belt first!
