What? The BMW USA site has a "end of lease" contract page, that's supposed to spell out the total cost, with breakdown of all the components. Is this where you got the info?
Or are you talking directly to a BMW dealer? If that's the case, then this is between you and them....and they're simply trying to jack up the price on you. It's not technically a lease buyout in this case: you're buying a used car from the dealer.
