Does seem odd indeed, but I wasn't planning on swapping amps. Hopefully with the speaker & subs installed, there will be a significant improvement in sound and clarity. Not really interested in "loud", I want clear & crisp. The stock setup is utter trash.
I'm sure if I wanted to upgrade the amp, BavSound will eventually make an amp for the x1. I was under the impression that the Revenant amp from BavSound would work.
