Cheaper and more effective to go with the BMS tune. The one in beta right now it putting down about 40whp more than stock on the dyno. Someone did a run from a roll not sure the speed, but the race wasnt even close, the tuned M4 just walked away.

But I guess the BMW version is good for those who want to drop double the money for the piece of mind that it's a BMW tune. Just annoys me as to why didnt the car just come with it. They'll probably charge $1500 for what is essentially a software update.
You may be right but it's hard to argue with paying more for piece of mind and factory warranty.
