This is the touchiest throttle of any BMW I have owned. In Comfort, as discussed, there is a slight lag. In Sport, I need to have thin soled shoes to modulate the pedal accurately. The other morning I was wearing boots and at a stop. A slight press on the pedal and I almost rear ended the car in front the acceleration was so instantaneous. This car really has a blast of power down low.
