Almost free that’s why I wanted to go stage 2.
A brand new 4000 miles local i8 crashed lost the back half but the engine was perfectly fine. The engine was put in some mazda with my OEM pistons. They sold me the pistons for about $380. Garage did the work for free since it’s a friend.

Edit: TLDR: Crashed i8 and good contacts got me a free piston upgrade.
Pfffff sounds like a bargain

When they put the engine in a Mazda, did they put the electric motors in as well? Or just the engine?

Was it one of the newer Mazda's? That seems like a nightmare to get everything coded and working in two different brand cars.

Did you ask if the I8 brakes would fit the f48? 🤷🏻*♂️
