Huh?? Even the E46 M3 had the ZCP model/package and also the M3 CSL?
Even though the base "M's" aren't at the top of the M line, they are still very special and definitely cannot be compared to a base series car as they have different components that have been tested/calibrated for more of a performance aspect.
