Tires for CSL 18" 9.5" +22 offset

I'm seriously considering buying a set of staggered Velocity CSL reps from **********s. I've been debating between 19's and 18's, and the way I see it, I'm leaning towards 18's because they are $150 less a set, better performing due to less rotational inertia, and according to the website, I can go with the more aggressive E46 M3/E90 offset of +22 http://www.**********s.com/product.a...id=velocity007.
The page for 19's doesn't say anything about the +22 offset rear wheel being E90 compatible.

Now I know +22 in the rear is really aggressive, and I don't want it to rub under any conditions. Would 265/35YR18 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s be alright, and if not, would 255/40YR18s be too stretched? Would choosing a 255 width tire in, say, a 55 or 45 aspect ratio compensate for this? Phoenix/Scottsdale's roads aren't bad by any means, but I don't want to be riding by millimeters of rubber on a ticking time bomb should I hit a curb or perform an emergency maneuver or the like.

For the front tires, I've tentatively chosen 235/40YR18s. There shouldn't be any issues with those, considering the +40 offset, right?

Also, I may choose to lower the stock sport suspension on H&R sport springs at a later date. Do any of you have an idea of how the clearance (or lack thereof) will be?

Thanks in advance!
