There was also a period in the 90s when a drug culture existed and was linked to different scenes, such as the bands that emerged from Manchester, (known as the Madchester Scene) and the whole Acid House, Rave culture. Ecstasy was the drug of choice, along with Speed and LSD. That doesn't mean that everyone indulged in these drugs though.
