My two "never-skimps" are high thread count sheets and good brakes & tires. Perhaps that makes 3, but nevertheless....
I like the thinking behind yours though. Some incidents have happened here for these to be a priority.
I have only two major things that would change about my life. I would have made a better choice or just waited on whom to have children with, and I would have answered the phone the last time my father called me before he passed. We got into a verbal argument the last time I spoke to him, which ended in my hanging up on him. It was the last time I spoke to him. He called the next day and I refused to answer as I was still pissed at him. He died the next morning. I kick myself daily for this.
Everything else, poor decisions and whatnot, only got me where I am now. Aside from the 2 aforementioned aspects, I couldn't be happier with where I am in life.
