Pivot Hybrid Gauge
The Pivot Hybrid gauge is another easy to use, innovative product by Pivot Japan.
The boost gauge is a key missing component in my opinion on the N54 engine cars like the 335i and the 135i.
Pivot has an easy solution. The pivot Hybrid gauge system is an easy to install system of 3 gauges (Boost / Water Temp / Exhaust Temp). The gauges are very easy to install as they obtain their reading through the DME via OBD ports. This also simplifies installation as no wire splicing and complicated senders are needed to be routed from the engine bay to the gauges. Only the vacuum line to the diverter valves are tapped for boost readings.
Gauges:
- Boost (kPa)
- Water Temp (Celsius)
- Exhaust Temp (Celsius)
Ease of Installation:
- Comes with specific harness for install to OBD for temperature readings
- Boost is tapped via Vacuum line to the diverter valves
- No wire splicing
- Connects with the Pivot 3-Drive Throttle Controller for multiple instruments
- 3D Design Gauge Pod for seamless integration to ash tray compartment
