I am 99% sure this is how they cracked down on organized crime etc. What law abiding citizen needs more than 10k in cash to buy X. Only Gangstas have that money lying around!!!!

Offering my 2 cents here - it's not so much the 10,000 limit per transaction now (and by now, I mean in the past few years)
It's trend-spotting now - using AI, ML, all sorts of automation shit.
So it's not an arbitrary number any more - it's looking for spikes and trends...

In other words, that won't cut it.
