For those affected, your dealer will try and make deals on X2/X3 models in the meantime. My clients are dead set on the X1 model so they understand and will wait.

I interpret this as the fix will be available on August 1st. With slightly over 106,000 vehicles that require repair, it will take BMW Service Centers quite some time to complete all the work.
I had a 2019 X1 ordered and then production stopped. I did score a great deal on an X3 and I guess I can live with it
