If it's any consolation, once a year I have to be awake while a doctor drills into my hip bone while I'm awake to extract bone marrow and then to tell me how much my life expectancy has dwindled from the 62 yrs old that they initially gave me when I got this cancer diagnosis that I live with.
At times, I get angry with it, but most of all I am thankful that I get live what I've loved already. And each day after I get more silly, flippant, and ridiculous because I know each day isn't promised.
To LIVE, It's all you can do. Once you're gone, someone else is gonna take that crown. When I go, I'm leaving someone else a HELL of a throne to claim.
