My ECU got fried a few years back when flashing back to stock. Luckily the tuner bought a new ECU for me circa 3K and had it towed to and coded at the dealer for me. You need to have confidence the tuner can deal with all these issues should they arise. I should note he paid for it all and my car was out of my hands for only three days.
