For my X1 I follow the door suggestions for the installed run flats. I also have a 340 and I do a 36 lb square, which for the front adds 4 extra pounds. This was suggested by BMW to avoid the excessive wear that occurred on the first set of tires. Set 2 looks to have almost double the life span.
