7 psi per month is a lot from my experience. I lose about 0.5 to 1.5 psi, at most, per month throughout the year. You may have a possible slight bent rim or small puncture - both problems I've had in the past that resulted in the tire pressure loss that you're seeing.

Another possibility is a leaky Schrader valve. To rule this out, spray some soapy water on the valve stem after removing the valve cap. If you see any bubbles form at all, you have a leaky valve.

However, a quick change in temperature (on average, you'll lose 1 psi per 10° Fahrenheit drop) + not airing up your tires for even a month or two could result in what looks like drastic tire pressure loss.

You should closely inspect the problematic wheel and tire for any obvious punctures. The bent rim issues I've had is usually on the inner side, so you should look closely on the inner side.
