I’ve found it convenient when I’m in the garage doing something else and don’t have the key. I can unlock the car with my Apple Watch. It’s also nice if I am going to the pool and only carrying my license, phone and Apple Watch, all of which are waterproof. The key fob is my first choice, but I’ve used the digital key several times in a week of ownership.
