I have same problems as above mentioned - only btw 4th and 5th gear on low rpm, on low RPM then gently accelerate the car hesitate and than sometimes jerk before it pulls away.

Still don't know if it is gearbox or ERG ??

On high RPM no issues with gearbox, problem also somehow less when you are in SPORT mode, as as low RPM higher in this mode.
Hi gents, finally went to BMW service and it was confirmed that EGR valve is defective, they changed and all went to normal, engine work much more smooth and back to normal, also notice that RPM are most stable at any speed.

To summarize - if you have delays when push accelerator at low RPM and response with delay, at some occasions it even look like problem with gearbox, most likely it is EGR valve fault, i also notice higher vibration of engine while idle, was nothing critical but still.. at service once i mentioned all problems, they have been even without checks conclude that it is EGR valve problem, and it is at 48000km only!!! so look like typical problem for that engine.
