Speak for yourself - I'll always want a little character from the exhaust on my cars, and I like the burble and popping on the overrun. The X1 with both pipes open sounds good on a cold start but it's too quiet to suit me while driving. A driver-switchable valve exhaust similar to the JCW Pro kit would be just the ticket.
