The Weathertech specs read as an indoor cover only and breathable, but without a fabric swatch to feel and not having handled one in person I don't know.

Now this was a big story a few years ago. May want to google to see if my tale is correct. So from what I recall, in the U.K. a gentleman started a very high-end car cover company. So a silk very thin form fitting or reveal cover may be the gentlest on the finish. You never want to drop a cover over the paint, always want to fold up the sides the rollup from back to front.
A reveal cover might be the best bet. I would like it to be as painless as possible to cover and uncover.
