I agree and next recommended purchase are the genuine rubber (all weather) floor mats. The genuine items have a rim around the edge so they do not just stop mud getting into the carpet but also stop the dust/sand creeping over the edge. The genuine rubber mats can be easily removed and jet washed or scrubbed clean. My carpets looked like new after 3 years despite country walks most days.
