The ISOFIX width is standard so both the car anchors and the child seats connectors have to match perfectly, and I'm sure they do (otherwise the car would not have the ISOFIX anchors to start with).
Regarding the third person in the back that is a totally different issue.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in the US it is recommended that infants be rear facing in the center and not on the sides.
