Will post my experience once I have it installed. My 2018 X1 has the auto high beam feature and driver assistance package and I am hopeful that their function will not be impeded.

Be prepared for disappointment, I ordered from the link in the thread and I just got my unit and it has the wrong power connector, instead of the mirror harness it has the OBDII connector power cable and there was a broken tab in the box when I opened it.
I've requested info from the seller on how to remedy the issue.
