Installation is very straightforward. You just unsnap the plastic piece behind the rear view mirror with the provided removal tool, unplug the wiring harness, connect it to the provided wiring harness, then snap back the provided camera housing. The camera derives its power from the rear view mirror sensor when the car is started. Pic quality is 1080. No back up cam, nor does it have parking mode. It does have night vision mode, as well as, G-Shock sensor to capture and store footage when you receive a "Love Tap" from another car or object.
