In Denmark there are certain requirements for the tracker if your insurance company requires a tracker. Things like its own backup battery, movement alarm without ignition, power loss alarm, 24x7 connection to an alarm central and more. I can't believe that the rules for UK would be that much different.
The BMW connected feature is nowhere near the requirements.
