Dont think thats the problem now as the shock mounts I put in are not made the same. As far as these over the other type, no real reason except I put these on and didnt even take the wheels off

Now it may be any one of about 8 different suspension bushings I guess and everyone had different idea which ones - as it could be any of them I guess thats fair - some spay silicone on them to get rid of the clunck but all that would do is attract grit and wear them even more - I think if they are squeeking thats one thing --clunks would mean there is more movement and a bump at the end .

I see above there is reference to gaskets (extra) between the mounts and the body on both sides of the tower which would make sense - where would I get the gaskets >
Looking for easy fixes first - taking the interior of the trunk apart is a PIA
